Registered Dietitian

About Alicia

Hi, I’m Alicia — Registered Dietitian, Gentle Nutrition Advocate, and Mom Who Loves to Bake
I became a dietitian because I’ve seen firsthand how confusing and stressful nutrition can feel — and how much relief comes when people realize it doesn’t have to be that way.
After earning my Master’s in Nutrition from Boston University, I worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings, supporting people with a wide range of health concerns. Over time, I noticed something consistent: the traditional “eat less, move more” advice wasn’t helping anyone feel better.
In fact, it often made people feel worse — anxious around food, disconnected from their bodies, and exhausted from trying to be “good” all the time.
That’s what led me to adopt a non-diet, weight-inclusive approach to nutrition.

My Philosophy
I believe all bodies deserve care, nourishment, and respect — no matter their size or shape.
My work is rooted in Intuitive Eating, Health at Every Size® (HAES) principles, and gentle nutrition.
When we work together, we’ll look at your whole story — your lifestyle, medical history, relationship with food, mental health, and the unique challenges of midlife. We’ll focus on small, meaningful shifts that help you feel more grounded, energized, and confident in your body.
My areas of specialty include:
-
Disordered eating and eating disorders
-
Perimenopause and menopause nutrition
-
Chronic dieting and body image healing
-
Type 2 diabetes and prediabetes
-
Nutrition and mental health (including anxiety, depression, and ADHD)
A Bit More About Me
Outside of my practice, I love spending time with my husband, our two kids, and our very vocal dog, Griffin. We like to hike, ride bikes, and spend time at the beach. I also play soccer (and hope to continue for a long time!).
I also love baking from scratch — especially cakes and intricately decorated cookies (they’re my creative outlet!).
Most of all, I love helping people discover that food can be simple again — joyful, flexible, and nourishing without all the pressure.
