My Story

I am a registered dietitian practicing a non-diet approach to wellness. I have a Master’s degree in Nutrition from Boston University, along with experience working in both inpatient and outpatient settings. I believe that there is no “one-size-fits-all” when it comes to nutrition. I work with each individual, taking into consideration personal preferences, lifestyle choices, medical history, dieting history, and much more to develop a plan that works for that person.

I find that it is important to understand the psychological as well as physical effects that eating has on a person. I hold the firm belief that all foods can fit into any diet (with the exception, of course, food allergies). It is my mission to help my clients find peace with food, and live life with the flexibility and freedom from food that we all deserve. By approaching health and wellness from a weight-inclusive standpoint, it becomes more about health and less about societal ideals that have very little to do with “being healthy.”

In my spare time, I love to go on hikes with my husband and our two young children, as well as our loud but sweet dog, Griffin. Other passions of mine include running, playing soccer and baking. My favorite things to bake are from scratch cakes, as well as any kind of cookie that can be decorated with royal icing!
